Homemade Rolls

6-7 cups flour
2 cups milk (1/2 cup water)
1 egg
1/2 cup sugar
1 stick margarine
1 tsp salt
2 packages yeast

Heat milk and margarine (microwave) – warm, but don't kill the yeast.
Add to dry ingredients with mixer (about 4 cups of flour).
Kneed 8-10 minutes with remaining flour.
Place in greased large bowl and cover in warm (but off) oven to rise. 45 min – 1 hour. Until it doubles in size.
Roll about 1/2 dough to 3/4″ slab
Cut round, dab with butter and fold in half for crescent rolls.
Grease pan and let rise until doubled and bake at 350 until brown (about 15 minutes).
Or roll up slab with sugar, cinnamon and butter and slice 1 inch thick for rolls.
