5 Hour Oven Stew

2 lbs. lean chuck roast cut in cubes
1 cup celery cut in 1/2 in.pieces
6 carrots cut in one in. pieces
3 potatoes cut in chunks
1 #2 can tomato juice
3 tabl. tapioca
1 teas. salt
1teas. sugar
Put all ingredients in tightly covered roaster
Bake 5 hrs. at 250′
Season to taste
